The petitioner seeks bail in Gopalpur P.S. Case 129 of 2018, instituted for the offence under Section(s) 399, 402 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of Arms Act.
It is alleged in the written report that police apprehended three persons who disclosed their name as Abhyanand @ Abhay Kumar, Ranjit Kumar and Ravindra Kumar @ Ravinder Kumar (petitioner). On search, one loaded country made pistol has been recovered from possession of the petitioner.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 8.9.2018 having clean antecedent. He further
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.9128 of 2019(2) dt.18-02-2019 2/2 submits that petitioner has been arrested in the instant case merely on suspicion.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran, in connection with Gopalpur P.S.
