The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Magadh University P.S. Case No. 37 of 2012 registered under Sections 341, 323, 448, 504, 506 & 376 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is contended that though the alleged occurrence took place on 4.7.2011, the written report was submitted to the police on 6.4.2012 pursuant to which the FIR was registered and investigation was taken up.

Regard being had to the undue and unexplained

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.52694 of 2015 (2) dt.30-01-2016 2 / 2 delay caused in lodging the FIR, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate-1st Class, Gaya in connection with Magadh University P.S.
