2. The petitioners have prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 8(c) and 21(b) of NDPS Act.
3. The case of the prosecution is that from a room of a hotel where the petitioner were staying, from the possession of petitioner, Raushan, altogether, 52.64 grams of smack like substance was recovered whereas from the possession of petitioner, Pravin, altogether 49.90 grams of smack like substance was recovered.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and have committed no offence. They have falsely been implicated in this case. He has further submitted

No.8455 of 2026(2) dt.17-02-2026 2/2 that though the contraband which has been recovered from the possession of the petitioners is more than small quantity but is much less than commercial quantity as per NDPS Act. A statement has been made in para-3 of this petition that the petitioners have got no criminal antecedent. Moreover, they are languishing in judicial custody since 12.11.2025.
5. Learned APP appearing for the state has opposed the prayer of regular bail.
6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioners on bail. The above named petitioners are directed to be released on bail in connection with Phulwaria P.S. Case No. 178 of 2025 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Principal Sessions Judge, Begusarai.
