The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 395 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act. As per the prosecution case, four accused persons shot at the informant and also looted the informant of various articles including Rs. 16,000/- in cash etc. He was injured in the firing resorted to by the accused persons.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the FIR was registered against unknown. The name of the petitioner transpired in the confessional statement of the coaccused made before the police which is inadmissible. Further the material being relied on against the petitioner is his antecedent. The petitioner is in custody since 9.10.2020 and

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case including the petitioner having remained in custody for over 1 year but not having been put on T.I. parade, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Chandi P.S. Case no. 121 of 2018 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.D.J. II, Bhojpur at Ara. (Partha Sarthy, J) Spd/- U T
