JUSTICE RAKESH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 11-12-2015 Heard Sri Pravin Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor and Sri Ashok Kumar, learned counsel, who has voluntarily appeared on behalf of the informant, who is none else but the wife of the petitioner. The petitioner, who is in custody since month of August, 2015 in connection with Siwan (Mahila ) P.S. Case no.73/2015 registered for the offence under Sections 498(A), 406,379, 323, 494, 504 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, has prayed for grant of bail. It was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the present case was registered on the basis of complaint petition filed before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Siwan, which
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.52819 of 2015 (2) dt.11-12-2015 2/2 was transferred under Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
Learned counsel for the informant has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Keeping in view the nature of accusation and period of custody, let the petitioner, namely Arun Manjhi be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-( ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Siwan in connection with Siwan ( Mahila) P.S. Case no.73/2015.
