JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 14-03-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1) For direction upon the Respondents to consider the prayer of the petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment on the ground of extreme hardship after the death of his father who died in harness on 03.12.2018 while working as fourth grade employee in Bihar State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation Limited, Chapra Unit.

Patna High Court CWJC No.3467 of 2024(2) dt.14-03-2024 2/3 II) For quashing the Minutes dated 21.09.2023 contained in Memo No.7569 dated 12.10.2023 (Annexure-5 of the writ petition) of the Compassionate Committee for appointment on compassionate grounds of the dependents of the deceased employee of the Bihar State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation Limited to the extent of the Petitioner whose claim for compassionate appointment has not been recommended arbitrarily on baseless ground."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the respondents submits, by referring to the counter affidavit filed in the present case, which though is not on record, that the petitioner has been asked to submit certain documents and as soon as the same are submitted his case for grant of appointment on compassionate ground shall be considered forthwith.

In view of the aforesaid, I deem it fit and proper to grant liberty to the petitioner to submit the requisite documents, within a period of four weeks from today, whereupon, the Compassionate Appointment Committee of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.3467 of 2024(2) dt.14-03-2024 3/3 respondent-Bihar State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation shall take a decision, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
