Patna High Court CWJC No.18054 of 2016(2) dt.06-04-2023 2/3 Darbhanga (hereinafter to the referred as the Dharmshala) with immediate effect, as the same is forcefully occupied by the local Darbhanga police without any consent of the trustees and the police opened an outpost in the said Dharmshala.

II. For a direction to the Respondents to give suitable compensation/cost of the Dharmshala as the same has been occupied by the police forcefully and illegally along with penal interest.

III. For a direction to the concerned Respondents to give suitable compensation for renovation of the Dharmshala as during its illegal occupancy the Dharmshala has been fully damaged."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
