1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.
2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 363, 365, 370 and 120(b) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of the POCSO Act.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has antecedent of one case and has been falsely implicated in the present case by the informant with an allegation that the accused persons including the petitioner were involved in the kidnapping of his minor daughter aged about 17 years. Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12475 of 2024(3) dt.01-05-2024 2/2 returned back and her statement was recorded under Sections 161 and 164 of the Cr.P.C. wherein she has not supported the allegation against the petitioner.
4. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.
5. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Tatarpur (Vishwavidyalaya O.P.)
