Deceased, Manoj Kumar Singh, who died subsequently while undergoing treatment at Paras Hospital, Patna while was coming out from Jail where he was lodged in connection with University P. S. Case No.109 of 2015, was brutally assaulted and on account thereof, his wife Meena Singh instituted the instant case. Though, she had named certain persons, but happens to be not an eye witness and further, had disclosed that the occurrence took place on account of rivalry over having a contract (agent) relating to public carrier.

From perusal of the case diary, it is evident that petitioner happens to be owner of 'Nirala Pariwahan' and further, he had shown his complicity by way of inculpatory extra-judicial

Accordingly, petitioner, Raushan Kumar @ Krishna Kumar Jha @ Raushan is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Darbhanga in connection with Laheriasarai P. S. Case no.148 of 2015.
