2. The present writ petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):

(i) For quashing the Notification No. 191 dated 02-08-2005 published in an Extra-Ordinary issue of the Zila Gazette, Katihar issued under the authority of the Collector, Katihar whereby and whereunder, the learned Collector purported to acquire 4.24 Acres lands appertaining to Kheta No.

180, out of Plot No. 816,818 and 832

Patna High Court CWJC No.16955 of 2017(2) dt.23-06-2025 2/2 situated at village Marodha (wrongly printed as Marrioha, P.S. Pranpur, District Katihar in purported exercise of power under section 15(1) of the Bihar Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling Area and Aegufsf tion of Surplus land) Act 1961 (herein-after referred to as the Ceiling Act).

(ii) To restrain the respondents from distribution/settling the aforesaid land held by the petitioners till the disposal of the writ application.

(iii) To restore possession and pay compensation if it is found that the petitioners have been dispossessed from the aforesaid land by the respondents.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the petition.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
