The present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondents to regularise the services of the petitioner under the establishment of Muzaffarpur Municipal Corporation, Muzaffarpur taking into account his service since 1984 in pursuance of the judgment dated 27.08.2014 passed in C.W.J.C. No.3533 of 2001 by this Hon'ble Court.

3. From the pleadings as well as Annexure-P/3 of the writ petition, it transpires that advertisement has been made by the Municipal Commissioner, Muzaffarpur in which all persons including the petitioner were asked to participate in the selection

Patna High Court CWJC No.3222 of 2020(2) dt.01-03-2024 2/2 process as directed by this Hon'ble court in C.W.J.C. No.3533 of 2001 dated 27.08.2014.

It also transpires to this Court that petitioner has participated in the said process and total 8 persons vide Annexure-P/6, 8 persons vide Annexure-P/7 and 9 persons vide Annexure-P/8 were selected, thereafter they again filed representation before the Municipal Commissioner, Muzaffarpur and now filed the writ petition before this Court to consider his case in the light of order dated 27.08.2014 passed in C.W.J.C. No.3533 of 2001.

5. Counsel for the Municipal Corporation submits that direction of this Hon'ble Court has already been exhausted.

6. In this view of the matter, this Court is of the view that petitioner is riding on dead horse, and therefore, he is not entitled for any relief.

7. Accordingly, the present writ application is hereby dismissed.
