The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Vaishali (Belsar O.P.) P.S. Case No.333 of 2021, registered for the offence punishable under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act. The prosecution case, in brief, is that the Subdivisional Agriculture Officer, Hajipur submitted a written information against the petitioner that the Assistant Director (Chemical) inspected the shop of the petitioner and found irregularities.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

It is further submitted that the licence of the petitioner has already been cancelled by the concerned authority. It is lastly submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

The learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

Taking into consideration the fact that licence of the petitioner has already been cancelled by the concerned authority, let petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali (Hajipur) in connection with Vaishali (Belsar O.P.) P.S. Case No.333 of 2021, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
