1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this is an application praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of a writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ / order / direction for quashing the order bearing DO. No. (Ziladesh Sankhya) 2519 of 2022 contained in Memo No. 11036 dated 21.12.2022

Patna High Court CWJC No.4770 of 2024(2) dt.04-04-2024 2/2 issued by respondent no. 7, whereby and whereunder the Petitioner has been suspended arbitrarily. It is further prayed for issuance of a consequential writ in the nature of a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or direction commanding the respondents to reinstate the petitioner on the post of chaukidar with all consequential benefit including subsistence allowance accrued to him during his period of suspension."

2. At the outset, the learned counsels for the parties are in agreement that the present writ petition can be disposed off with a direction to the disciplinary authority to conclude the departmental proceeding in question, within a period of four months from today, failing which the order of suspension dated 21.12.2022, issued by the Superintendent of Police, Saran shall stand revoked automatically. It is directed accordingly.

3. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
