2. The present writ petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):

(i) To direct the concerned Respondents to disposed of in Mutation Appeal no. 59/2016 pending in the court of D.C.L.R., Sadar Patna, District-Patna (Respondent no. 3) forthwith.

(ii) To direct the concerned Respondents to pass necessary order at the earliest in Mutation Appeal no. 59/2016 filed on 13.1.2016, Patna which is still pending before D.C.L.R. Patna without any rhyme and reason.

Patna High Court CWJC No.17471 of 2017(2) dt.17-06-2025 2/3 (iii) To grant any other relief/reliefs which the petitioner may found entitled in the facts and circumstances of the case.

3. What could not be done for eight years happened in few minutes. Learned counsel for the petitioner came with a simple prayer to dispose of his Mutation Appeal No. 59 of 2016 pending before the learned DCLR, Patna. This writ petition was filed in the year 2017 and as per the efforts of Mrs. Nutan Sahay, pursuant to the anguish shown by this Court, the DCLR, Patna has sent the Whatsapp document to show that on 05.12.2018 itself, the Mutation Appeal was disposed of.

4. It is unfortunate that despite service of two copies to the learned State Counsel and communication thereafter being made to the State respondents, they failed to inform the State which results into pendency of the petition.

5. This Court would also like to put on record its word of appreciation for Mr. Dhananjay Kumar who gave proper assistance in the matter which led to the final disposal of the case.

6. Before disposing of the writ petition, the Court cautions the respondents, specially the DCLR, Patna, Sadar to be cautious in future and in case, any case relating to his/her

Patna High Court CWJC No.17471 of 2017(2) dt.17-06-2025 3/3 office is pending before competent Court, he/she shall ensure that the State Counsel is properly informed and the reply is filed in time.

7. The writ petition stands disposed of with aforesaid observations.
