The petitioner is in custody in connection with Manjhagarh P.S. Case No.167 of 2015 for the offences punishable under Sections 272,273 of the Indian Penal Code and 47(A) of the Excise Act.

The allegation against the petitioner is of recovery of 75 litres of country made liquor and 15 kilograms of Mahua with no paper to support the possession.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a student and has no concern with the alleged recovery. He further submits that the petitioner has a clean antecedent and for the alleged offence has been taken into custody on 20.8.2015. Having heard learned counsel for the parties, considering

No.50378 of 2015 (2) dt.10-11-2015 2/2 the nature of allegation, the antecedent and the period of custody, let the petitioner namely, Raja Kumar be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj in connection with Manjhagarh P.S. Case No.167 of 2015.
