The petitioner is in jail custody since 25-09-2014 on the accusation that he collected huge amount on behalf of United Medicines & Surgical Industries Limited but after maturity of amounts of victims, the petitioner failed to return the amount of the victims of the present case.
The contention on behalf of the petitioner is that the petitioner and several other persons were appointed as agents of the said company and the collected amount was deposited with the company. It is also pointed out by him that the concerned company issued several cheques to the petitioner as well as other agents but later on, when cheques were produced before the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1360 of 2015 (5) dt.17-04-2015 2/2 concerned bank, the same became bounced and the petitioner has also filed complaint case against the Director of the said company. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submission of the parties, let the petitioner named above, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Azamnagar P.S. Case No. 225 of 2014 to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar. (Hemant Kumar Srivastava, J) A.K.V./- U T
