The petitioner seeks bail in Kudhani P.S. Case No. 261 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 326 and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The informant alleged that quarrelling took place thereafter the petitioner Sukhari Rai @ Ramlal Rai, Sita Devi and Rajkali Devi threw conc. acid on Upendra Rai, the husband of the informant, on her mother-in-law and on the informant. It appears that the informant and her mother-in-law got acid burn injuries over their body. Upendra Rai, the husband of the informant also got acid burn injury on chest, neck and left eye. The injuries are opined to be grievous.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.48897 of 2014 (3) dt.19-03-2015 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
