1. Heard learned Counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.
2. This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Jhandapur Police Station Case No. 147 of 2025, disclosing offences under Sections 190, 191(3), 126(2), 115(2), 109, 132, 352, 351(2) of the BNS, 2023.
3. The prosecution case, in brief, is that on 23.10.2025 at about 3:00 PM, while the informant, Block

No.8780 of 2026(2) dt.26-02-2026 2/3 Bihpur Disaster Coordinator, was present at Jamalpur Ghat immersion site with Aapda Mitra personnel, certain intoxicated persons allegedly created disturbance, attempted to pull people into the water, threatened the rescue team for not providing a life tube, took away a life jacket, and assaulted the Aapda Mitra personnel, causing injuries.
4. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case. The allegations in the FIR are general and omnibus in nature, with no specific overt act attributed to them except against one co-accused namely Ranveer Singh alias Rana. Learned counsel next submits that the injuries sustained are simple in nature and caused by a hard and blunt object. Learned counsel further submits that the case is false and motivated by prior enmity, and that there is no direct or indirect evidence against the petitioners in the case diary.

Having regard to the submissions made on behalf of the parties and taking into consideration the fact that petitioners are named in the FIR, there is allegation against the petitioners of assaulting the on duty disaster response team and petitioner no. 3 is having criminal antecedent, I am not inclined to grant the petitioners privilege of anticipatory bail.
