2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under section 420 of the Indian Penal Code and section 138 of the NI Act.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that both parties have resolved and settled their dispute in terms of settlement mutually agreed upon by them. A copy of the settlement is annexed with the mediator's report dated 29.7.2025.
4. Learned counsel for opposite party no.2 does not controvert the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner.
5. Considering the mediator's report, prayer for bail of
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.8259 of 2025(4) dt.25-08-2025 2/2 the petitioner is allowed. In the event of arrest/surrender within six weeks from today, let the petitioner, mentioned above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate II, Samastipur in CR No. 1003/2019, TR No. 1120/2023, subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure as well as in terms of settlement.
