The petitioner is in custody in connection with Jokihat P.S. Case No. 441 of 2019 corresponding to Special Case No. 1736 of 2019 for the offenses under Sections 272, 273 and 290 of the Indian Penal Code and 30(a) and 37(b) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. In the instant case total 31 ltrs of foreign liquor was recovered. The petitioner is in custody since 31.12.2019.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on
