The petitioner seeks bail in Balthar P.S. Case No. 99 of 2018, instituted for the offence under Section(s) 489B and 489(C)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged in the written report that one lady namely Nurjanti Khatoon @ Nurjayanti Khatoon was arrested by the police on confidential information that she was trying to use fake currency note. She was apprehended by the police along with counterfeit currency note of 500 denomination as well as 4 note of 100 wrapped in blue handkerchief. She disclosed that aforesaid note was given to her by petitioner. Thereafter, First Information Report has been lodged against the petitioner.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.9146 of 2019(2) dt.18-02-2019 2/2 Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 22.9.2018 having clean antecedent. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, West Chamapran, in connection with Balthar P.S.
