Following relief has been sought for in paragraph 1 of the present application on behalf of the petitioners: "That this is an application for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing and commanding the respondents to make payment of arrear of pension granted under Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme from the year 2016 to till date to the petitioners with admissible interest as the old age pension to similarly situated persons have been paid but the
Patna High Court CWJC No.9952 of 2018(2) dt.09-01-2019 2/2 petitioners have been discriminated and further directing the respondents to pay Rs. 200/- to the each petitioner for blanket which was sent by Government to the petitioners." Considering the relief sought for on behalf of the petitioners, the petitioners are directed to file a representation before the District Collector, Bhojpur, Ara (respondent no. 4) within 30 days from today.
The respondent no. 4 (the District Collector, Bhojpur, Ara) shall consider the representation of the petitioners and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of filing of such representation. With the aforesaid observation/direction, the present writ application stands disposed of.
