2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with S.T. No. 580 of 2022 arising out of Siwan Town P.S. Case No. 345 of 2022 registered on 30.05.2022 lodged under Sections 395 of the I.P.C. which has been rejected vide order dated 15.02.2023 vide Cr. Misc. No. 56189 of 2022 and vide order dated 21.06.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 29384 of 2023.

3. Counsel further submits that petitioner is in custody since 09.07.2022 having no criminal case pending against him. He further submits that on earlier occasion progress report has been called for.

4. Learned counsel for the State opposes to prayer for bail and submits that petitioner is prime accused who is

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12029 of 2024(3) dt.19-04-2024 2/2 involved in dacoity.

5. From the fresh progress report it transpires that trial is likely to be concluded in a short period of 12 months, as such, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this bail application of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
