In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Bariri (Semapur) P.S. Case No. 85/2014 registered for offences under sections 323, 498(A) and 306 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the first information report, the victim lady entered into wedlock with one Niranjan Yadav and from that wedlock, three children have been born. The victim lady died, committed suicide by setting fire in her body. The counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is father-in-law, having no role in such incident and only the husband of victim can be held responsible for the same.
