JUSTICE NAWNEET KUMAR PANDEY ORAL ORDER 17-05-2023 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Bypass P.S. Case No. 564 of 2022, registered for offence punishable under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is a person of clean antecedent and he is under custody since 17.12.2022 for the allegation that 120 litres of illicit liquor was recovered from his possession. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances as well as the period of custody and also considering the clean antecedent of the petitioner, let him be

No.13358 of 2023(2) dt.17-05-2023 2/2 released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand rupees) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Patna City in connection with Bypass P.S.
