JUSTICE RAJENDRA KUMAR MISHRA ORAL ORDER 02-06-2020 Since the petitioners of both the applications seek bail in connection with Maner P.S. Case No.472 of 2019 registered under Sections 341, 323, 307, 379, 448, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, therefore, both the applications have been taken up together and, having heard together through Video Conferencing, are being disposed of by this common order.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.8721 of 2020(3) dt.02-06-2020 2/3 The accusation is that in the morning of 21.09.2019, the informant Sanjeet Kumar was at his house. At that time, his neighbours, Gama Rai (petitioner in Criminal Misc. No.8721 of 2020), Ranjeet Rai, Akhilesh Rai (petitioner in Criminal Misc. No.8751 of 2020), Indu Devi, Dhanwanti Devi and Kamlawati Devi came at the door of the informant and due to previous grudge, started to abuse to the father of the informant. At that time, Ranjeet Rai and Akhilesh Rai (petitioner in Criminal Misc. No.8751 of 2020) attacked through lathi and rod at Ram Balak Rai, the father of the informant. When the informant and his mother rushed to save him, then Gama Rai (petitioner in Criminal Misc. No.
8721 of 2020) caused injury at the head of the informant through iron rod, due to which the informant fell down on the ground. Thereafter, Ranjeet Rai and Akhilesh Rai (petitioner in Criminal Misc. No.8751 of 2020) started to cause assault to the informant through lathi and Akhilesh Rai (petitioner in Criminal Misc. No.8751 of 2020) started to press his neck. At that time, Dhanwanti Devi, Kamlawati Devi and Indu Devi caused assault to the mother of the informant and Kamlawati Devi snatched the gold chain from her neck. Akhilesh Rai (petitioner in Criminal Misc. No.

Submission is that due to some dispute, the occurrence of "Maar-Peet" took place between the parties. The petitioners having no criminal antecedents are in custody since 30.10.2019. On investigation, the police has already submitted the chargesheet against the petitioners.
Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioners, above named, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Miss Nutan Kumari, Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Danapur, Patna, in connection with Maner P.S. Case No.472 of 2019.
