2. The present petition has been preferred for following reliefs:

"(a) To issue a writ of certiorari or any other writ or writs direction or directions for quashing the order dated 27.01.2015 passed in settlement case No.09/14-15 by the Subdivisional Officer, Dumrao (contained in Annexure-5) whereby and whereunder 0.02 acres of land pertaining to Khata No.1226, Plot no.3067/7309 situated at village Mathila P.S. Koran Sarai, District Buxar has wrongly and

Patna High Court CWJC No.18960 of 2016(2) dt.19-08-2025 2/2 illegally been settled in favour of respondent no.6 to 8 for residential purpose.

(b) To pass any such other order or orders as the Hon'ble Court may deem just and proper."

3. It has been informed by learned counsel for the petitioner that the sole petitioner is no more and as such, heirs be granted liberty to file appropriate petition if they so wants. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that heirs be granted liberty to agitate the matter before the District Magistrate, Buxar in Appeal No.95 of 2015, if the same is still pending.

4. Learned counsel for the State has no objection.

5. The writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid liberty.
