Learned counsel for the appellant, through Video Conferencing, submits that while this appeal under Section 14A(2) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, has been filed on behalf of the appellant to grant him the privilege of pre-arrest bail in connection with Cheriya Bariyarpur P.S. Case No.49 of 2020, pending in the court of the Special Judge, the Scheduled Castes

Patna High Court CR. APP (SJ) No.1610 of 2021(2) dt.13-07-2021 2/2 and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, Begusarai, but the appellant, during the pendency of this appeal, has already been arrested by the police in this case and, as such, this appeal, has become infructuous and seeks permission to withdraw this appeal.

Permission is accorded.

This appeal is dismissed as withdrawn.
