The present writ application has been filed seeking a direction upon the Municipal Commissioner (Respondent No.2) for early disposal of Vigilance Case No. IB/ 2016. The learned counsel for the Municipal Corporation submits that he had sought instruction on phone today from the Corporation and he has been informed that none of the parties to the proceedings of Vigilance Case No. 1B/2016 have appeared in the case for the last 26 dates. It is next submitted that the last appearance by the parties were made on 11.08.2018 and thereafter, the case was taken up on 26 different dates, but none

Patna High Court CWJC No.16594 of 2017(2) dt.21-03-2023 2/2 had appeared. It is next submitted that the next date of the case is fixed on 06.05.2023.

The learned counsel for the petitioner assures this Court that petitioner will appear on the said date. The Municipal Commissioner is directed to dispose of the case expeditiously within a reasonable time.

The instant writ application is disposed of accordingly.
