2. The present writ petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):

"i) For directing to the Respondent concern to pay the Compensation amount to the petitioner for acquired land bearing Mauza Badhpara 219 Khata no. 1920 Khesara no. 4604 area 9 dec. of the current rate.

(ii) For direction to the Respondent Concern to pay interest to the petitioner on paid

Patna High Court CWJC No.16595 of 2017(2) dt.06-05-2025 2/3 amount of Rs. 79063/- which has been paid after laps of eight years for another acquired land being Mauza Badhepara 219 Khata no. 1920 Kheshra no. 4614 measuring area 805 dec.

(iii) Any further direction to the Respondents concern for grant of any other relief/ reliefs for which the petitioner is entitled for in the facts and circumstances of the case of the petitioner."

3. As usual, there is no counter-affidavit to ascertain whether pursuant to the order passed by the competent Officercum-District Land Acquisition Officer, Araria, the follow up process has been completed or not.

4. The writ petition was filed in the year 2017 and there is no counter-affidavit on record. Instead of adjourning the matter after imposing cost upon the State-respondents, it would be appropriate that the same is disposed of.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of directing the respondent no. 3, the District land Acquisition Officer, Araria to look into the matter and take the same to its logical conclusion, if still not taken, preferably within a period of four months from today.

6. Mr. Vivekanand Singh, learned AC to GP-18 undertakes to telephonically inform the concerned authority today itself followed by communicating him through letter incorporating that he has been telephonically informed.
