The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Maker P.S. Case No. 9 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 188, 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30, 30(a), 41 and 47 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 86 litres of illicit liquor from the road side near the bridge and the petitioner was apprehended while fleeing away. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is submitted that the petitioner has a clean antecedent and he is languishing in custody since 15.01.2019.
