Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the

Patna High Court MJC No.397 of 2025(3) dt.07-03-2025 2/3 learned GP-14, Shri. Dhurjati Kumar Prasad.

The learned GP-14 submits that in compliance of the order dated 21-1-2025 passed in CWJC No. 454 of 2025, the Collector has disposed of the representation of the petitioner by his order dated 22-2-2025 holding that construction of Panchayat Sarkar Bhawan is not being made on the land of the petitioners, on which the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that though the Collector has disposed of the representation of the petitioners holding that construction of Panchayat Sarkar Bhawan is not being constructed on the land of the petitioners, but still the authorities are proceeding with construction of the Panchayat Sarkar Bhawan on the land of the petitioners.

At this stage, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that if the petitioners are really aggrieved by the fact that Panchayat Sarkar Bhawan is being constructed on their land, in that event, they have remedy available in law, but then the purpose for which the instant contempt application was filed, does not survive. 4.

Considering the submission made by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State, the Court does not feel persuaded to proceed with the contempt any further, accordingly

Patna High Court MJC No.397 of 2025(3) dt.07-03-2025 3/3 the instant contempt application is dismissed. 5.

However, the dismissal of instant application would not denude the petitioners from challenging the order of the Collector, if they are aggrieved by the order of the Collector. 6.

The show-cause filed by the Collector is taken on record.
