The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- "(i) For issuance of writ of certiorari for quashing the order dated 30.01.2018 passed by the Collector Saran in Supply Appeal No. 52/17 whereby and whereunder the Collector has been pleased to not interfere with the order passed by the Sub-Divisional Officer, Marhoura, District-Saran.

(ii) For issuance of writ of mandamus commanding upon the respondents to restore the PDS license of the petitioner and direct the respondents to allot food grains to the petitioner for the Distribution. (iii) For the other reliefs for which petitioner is found entitled in the facts and circumstances of the case."

3. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Supply Revision No. 66 of 2018 has been filed by the petitioner and is pending before the Divisional Commissioner for disposal. He submits that it will suffice if a direction is given for early disposal of the said revision case and in that event, the present writ petition need not be pressed on merits.

4. Learned counsel for the respondents appears and has been heard.

5. Having regard to the nature of the grievances and the stand of the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Divisional Commissioner, Saran, Chapra (Respondent No. 2) to consider and dispose of Supply Revision No. 66 of 2018, if the same is still pending before him, after grant of opportunity of hearing to the petitioner in accordance with law expeditiously and preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this judgment.
