2. The petitioners have approached this Court

Patna High Court CWJC No.3767 of 2019 dt.27-02-2019 2/3 for a direction to the respondent authorities to pay them the arrears of the revised salary from August, 1981 to 16th February, 1992. The petitioners have only been paid on the basis of old pay scale and the benefit of pay revision has not been accorded to him.

The learned counsel appearing for the State, however, has submitted that since the appointment of the petitioners was through back door, except for they being paid for the work that they have rendered on the old pay scale, nothing else would be admissible to him. However, such statement has been made off the cuff and without checking up the records of the case.

4. Under the aforesaid circumstances, this Court directs the petitioners to make a representation before the Executive Officer, Nagar Panchayat, Maharajganj, Siwan (respondent No. 5), detailing their grievances, within a period of four week from today. On receipt of such representation, the concerned respondent shall dispose off such representation within a further period of six weeks thereafter.
