The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Ganga Bridge P.S. Case No.-66 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 323, 341 and 354B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of the POCSO Act. 3.

The allegation against the petitioner along with others is of outraging the modesty and assaulting to the informant.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He next submits that both parties have settled the dispute and the relations between them outside the court and a compromise

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12603 of 2024(2) dt.28-02-2024 2/2 petition has also been filed before the trial court. He next submits that similarly situated co-accused has been granted bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court passed in Cr. Misc. No. 78384 of 2023. Petitioner has got clean antecedent as stated in para-3 of the petition and he is in custody since 30.10.2023. 5.

Learned APP appearing for the State, opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner. 6.

Considering the facts and circumstances and also the fact that similarly situated co-accused has already been granted bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court, let the petitioner, above named, be directed to be released on bail in connection with Ganga Bridge P.S. Case No.66 of 2023 on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-VI-cum-Special Judge, POCSO, Hajipur, Vaishali.
