With regard to the land of the petitioner, certain Purcha has been issued to the settlee without hearing the petitioner. In Ceiling Case No. 120 of 1973-74, the petitioner claims to be a purchaser of the land through a registered sale deed dated 28.05.1956 and his name has been mutated in the revenue records. He has been paying rent to the State of Bihar regularly.

The petitioner shall be satisfied if the authorities are directed to consider his case and decide the same in accordance with law - whether the land belonged to the landholder on the

This writ petition is disposed of with a direction that the petitioner will approach the Additional Collector (Ceiling), Katihar by filing an application and the Additional Collector (Ceiling), Katihar will decide the same in accordance with law after hearing the petitioner within four month from today. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
