2. This application has been filed on behalf of the petitioner for quashing the order dated 2.12.2023 passed by the Special Judge, Vigilance Patna in Special Case No. 7 of 2021 arising out from Vigilance P.S. Case No. 4 of 2021.

3. The petitioner was trapped while accepting bribe of Rs. 30,000/- when he was posted as an SHO of a police station at the relevant time.

4. The petitioner had filed an application for discharge and the same has been rejected by the Special Judge, Judge Vigilance by the impugned order.

5. Upon perusal of the impugned order, this Court finds no illegality in the same and no ground is made out for interference as the charges can be framed even on the basis of strong suspicion.

6. In view of the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court passed in the case of State of Bihar Vs. Ramesh Singh 1977 SCC (4) 39, this application is dismissed. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Vikas/- U T
