2. That the present application is being preferred on behalf of the petitioner above named for issuance of appropriate writ / writs, order / orders direction / directions for the following reliefs :- (i) For quashing the letter being letter no.

361 dated 25.05.2017 issued under the signature of respondent no. 3, whereby it has been informed to the petitioner that the settlement made in its favour for the year 2012-13 to 2018-19 has been cancelled by the respondent no. 2 with immediate effect and the petitioner has been restrain from

Patna High Court CWJC No.17399 of 2017(2) dt.15-04-2024 2/2 doing any fishing work over the settled land. (ii) Also for commanding the respondent to permit the petitioner to do the fishing work over the sairat settled in favour of the petitioner.

(iii) Also for any other appropriate relief(s) to which petitioner is found entitled either in the eye of law or in the facts and circumstances of the case.

3. From the prayer, the State has pointed out that the period of settlement was 2012-13 to 2018-19.

4. In that background and since we are in the year 2024, the matter has become infructuous.
