03-03-2015 The petitioner, who is in custody in Sessions Trial No. 1345 of 2013 (arising out of Mahila P.S. Case No. 21 of 2013) for the offence under Sections 376/380 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 66/66A of the I.T. Act and subsequently under Sections 376(2)(1)(K), 457, 386 & 411 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 65/66A of the I.T. Act and Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act were added, has prayed for grant of bail. On perusal of the order of the learned Addl. Sessions Judge IV, Patna passed on 17.09.2014, whereby, the prayer for bail was rejected, it is evident that the trial is almost at the fag end. Only doctor and I.O. were required to be examined. Keeping in view of the fact that trial is almost at the fag end, there is no reason to extend the privilege of bail.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.49277 of 2014 (2) dt.03-03-2015 2/2 The petition stands dismissed.
