The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 420/272/273/308/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 47(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Submission is that this is a case of misuse of privilege of bail. The petitioner is in custody since 07.12.2018. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18300 of 2019(3) dt.10-04-2019 2/2 where the case is pending in connection with Siwan Town P.S. Case No.14 of 2013, with condition that petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
