2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 492C of 2017 for the offence under Sections 498A and 323 of the I.P.C. and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. As per the prosecution story, three years ago, the complainant was married with the petitioner and started living in her matrimonial home. It is alleged that her husband along with his family members started demanding of Rs. 2,00,000/- (Two Lakh) as dowry and when the aforesaid demand was not fulfilled by the complainant, then her husband along with his family members started harassing the complainant. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the husband of the complainant and he always tried to live with his wife with full honor and dignity but she denied to live with him. Petitioner is a jobless person and he belongs to a poor and respectable family and on the other hand the complainant is earning, per month more than 40,000/- as salary. The petitioner is ready to settle his matrimonial dispute. Complainant is harassing the petitioner by filing false case and also disturbing the children.

5. Learned APP opposes the prayer for bail.

6. Earlier, vide order dated 16.12.2024, this case was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Center, Patna High Court, Patna, where complainant/O.P. No. 2 has never appeared. It is mentioned in the impugned order that petitioner is ready to keep his wife. Keeping in view the aforesaid submissions, this Court is inclined to extend him the privilege of anticipatory bail.

7. Let the petitioner be released on bail in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from the receipt of this order, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-
