1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That in the instant petition, the petitioner prays for issuance of writ of Mandamus and any other appropriate writs, orders, or directions to the respondents to transfer the Arms License No. 58/1982 having Unique code no.

051880002934252014 on Petitioner's name which was earlier issued on behalf of Petitioner's father Late Nawal Kishore Sah."

2. The limited prayer of the petitioner is to direct the District Arms Magistrate/District Magistrate, Patna to dispose off the pending application of the petitioner for transfer of arms

Patna High Court CWJC No.2126 of 2023(2) dt.26-09-2023 2/2 license in the name of the petitioner, which was earlier issued in favour of the deceased father of the petitioner.

3. Having regard to the limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Arms Magistrate/District Magistrate, Patna to dispose off the application filed by the petitioner as aforesaid, in case the same has been filed and is still pending, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

4. The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
