JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 10-04-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That this writ petition is being filed before this Hon'ble High Court on behalf of the aforesaid petitioner for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus whereby and whereunder commanding and directing the State respondent to furnish the details about the lands appertaining to Khata No.23 Corresponding to Khesra No.1674, 1675, 1676 measuring total area of land 5 decimals falling within Mauza-Bhabhani Thana No.398, P.S.- Bhabhani, District-Rohtas. And further prayer of the petitioner is to command and direct the

Patna High Court CWJC No.20271 of 2016(2) dt.10-04-2023 2/2 State respondent to prevent illegal encroachment over the aforesaid land by the private respondent no.5 who is adamant to encroach upon the land illegally and by use of muscle power and force."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
