The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that he has been put under and subjected to the New Bihar Pension Rules,

Patna High Court CWJC No.3692 of 2019 dt.27-02-2019 2/2 2005 whereas considering the period for which he had been in service, he should he governed by the old Pension Rules. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would be satisfied if he is permitted to make a representation before the Principal Secretary, Water Resources Department, Government of Bihar, Patna (Respondent No. 2). The petitioner is directed to file such representation before the Principal Secretary, Water Resources Department, Government of Bihar, Patna within a period of four weeks from today, detailing his grievances, which representation shall be disposed off by the concerned respondent within a further period of six weeks by a reasoned order, after checking up the facts and the law applicable to the petitioner. With the aforesaid observation / direction, this petition stands disposed off.
