The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Riga P.S. Case No.155 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 363, 366(A) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioners are said to have kidnapped the daughter of the informant for the purpose of marriage.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in the present case. The petitioners have got no criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph-3 of the bail petition. It is further submitted that the allegation against the petitioners is general and omnibus

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9416 of 2023(2) dt.20-04-2023 2/2 and the victim girl has not supported the prosecution case in her statement recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C.

Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Considering the fact that victim has not supported the prosecution case in her statement recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C., let petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (rupees twenty five thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M.-VI, Sitamarhi in connection with Riga P.S.
