2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 932(C) of 2015 for the offence under Sections 498A, 494, 406, 420, 120(B), 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 3⁄4 of the D.P. Act lodged by the complainant

3. As per the complaint petition preferred in the year 2015, the marriage was solemnized with the petitioner on 19.05.2010 but the dowry demand continued and after the birth of a male child in the year 2012, the behavior changed and the complainant was forced to ask for the motorcycle from the parents as the family was unable to pay, the complainant was forced to leave the house and came to the parents home. 4. As would reflect from the complaint itself, it is of the year 2015. Belatedly, the petitioner chose to approach the Court for anticipatory bail and considering the fact that the male child has now more than 10 years old, long rope was given to the petitioner to mend his way and come to an amicable settlement. However, as stated despite giving such long rope, the petitioner took the same for granted and on and off he kept coming/disappearing from the Court.

5. Today, despite the specific order on 02.08.2024 that the couple shall remain present along with the son, he chose to disappear and alibi has been given that he is ill without any document to support the said statement.

6. The allegation has come in the complaint, the petitioner through his attitude which has also been seen by the Court has supported the said case, lots of things have been stated by the lady by her learned counsel but this Court refrains from incorporating it in the order.

7. Considering the aforesaid facts and the fact that the complaint is of the year 2015, it would be appropriate that the petitioner seeks bail. Accordingly, the anticipatory bail petition stands rejected.

8. The interim protection granted to the petitioner vide order dated 08.05.2024 stands vacated.
