The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Barbigha (Mission O.P) P.S. Case No. 11 of 2020, registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The accusation is of recovery of 47 bottles, each containing 750 ML Indian made foreign liquor from Indica Car, which was being driven by the petitioner in which Kundan Kumar, Sujit Kumar and Gulshan Kumar were found sitting.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 14.01.2020.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of

No.9986 of 2020(2) dt.02-03-2020 2/2 the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-II, Sheikhpura in connection with Barbigha (Mission O.P) P.S. Case No. 11 of 2020.
