The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Thakrahan P.S. Case No. 17 of 2013 registered for the offences punishable under sections 420, 467, 468, 385 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
According to the prosecution case, one agnate of the informant, namely, Ramesh Mishra is alleged to have executed a sale deed in favour of the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is simply a vendee, who has purchased the land in question from the vendor Ramesh Mishra, a co-accused, who had absolute right, title and possession over the land in question. It has
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.51573 of 2014 (2) dt.03-03-2015 2/2 also been submitted that the petitioner has been remanded in this case on 8th February, 2013 and since then he is in jail. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.
Regard being had to the nature of the offence, the petitioner named above is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M., Bagaha, District- West Champaran in connection with Thakrahan P.S. Case No. 17 of 2013.
