Learned counsel for the petitioners has informed this Court that petitioner No. 2/Golu Kumar has been arrested. Accordingly, he seeks permission to withdraw this petition with respect to petitioner No. 2.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7714 of 2020(2) dt.10-06-2020 2/3 Permission is accorded.

The application with respect to petitioner No. 2/Golu Kumar is dismissed as withdrawn as having become infructuous.

The petitioner No. 1/Shankar Paswan @ Anant Paswan, who is a person of clean antecedent, seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Akbarnagar P.S. Case No. 04 of 2020, dated 03.01.2020, instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

17.5 litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from the godown of one Dilip Gupta. It has been stated in the F.I.R. that the godown of aforesaid Dilip Gupta is being looked after by the petitioner and Golu Kumar, whose petition has been withdrawn. Apart from this, there is no other accusation against the petitioner in the present case. Regard being had to the facts aforestated, the petitioner No. 1/Shankar Paswan @ Anant Paswan, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks, is directed to be released
