The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No.225 of 2020, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner and other co-accused persons tortured the complainant physically and mentally for non-fulfillment of demand of additional dowry.

As per direction of this Court dated 12.05.2023, petitioner and opposite party no.2 are physically present in Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.13693 of 2023(3) dt.20-06-2023 2/2 petitioner is ready to keep his wife with full honour and dignity. The petitioner is also ready to bring his wife back to her matrimonial home from this Court itself.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of opposite party no.2 submits that opposite party no.2 is also ready to live with her husband.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, let petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Sherghati, Gaya in connection with Complaint Case No.225 of 2020, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
